The Ralph Engelstad Arena along with the Olympic Arena and Betty Engelstad Sioux Center are great facilities to house events. Along with ice and court rentals, these facilities provide rooms for catering events and banquets. From the club lounges to the main lobby, Ralph Engelstad Arena can host any event from a wedding to a youth hockey tournament.

The Sioux Traditions Area

Located in the main lobby of the Ralph Engelstad Arena, the Sioux Traditions Area has become a favorite place for wedding receptions and dances. This space creates an intimate setting that is still large enough to house a dance floor, head table, and up to 300 guests. Granite floors, high open ceilings, and the largest skylight in North Dakota create the perfect environment for your event. This area also features four large screen monitors inset into the wall which can display special messages or graphics for your special occasion.

The Green Room

Entertain your clients, employees, or friends in the Ralph Engelstad Arena Green Room. The Green Room is available to rent prior to every UND men's home hockey game.
Your package will include:

  • 40 reserved tickets in the lower bowl
  • 20 onsite parking passes
  • VIP credential and gift for every attendee
  • Welcome message to your company or group on the Jumbo Tron video board
  • Pre-game dinner package with 80 drink tickets
  • Private bartender
  • Package price based on menu selection

The House Suite

The state-of-the-art Ralph Engelstad Arena has a total of 50 suites on an exclusive suite level available only to suite holders and their guests. Our luxury suites are the ultimate in entertainment and style, and are fully furnished with the finest amenities:

  • High fidelity in-house video system and color television
  • Closet and storage space with locked cabinets
  • Private restroom for each suite
  • Exclusive parking and entrances
  • Wet bar with refrigerator and filtered ice maker
  • Food warmer

With excellent sight lines, an exclusive VIP entrance, concierge staff and fully furnished lounge area, these finely appointed suites provide a wonderful way to watch an event. The Ralph Engelstad Arena house suites are available for Fighting Sioux men's hockey games, a variety of concerts, family shows and other world-class sporting events. Ralph Engelstad Arena suites offer the amenities and services to entertain up to 42 clients, employees, family or friends.
